Snowdonia National Park is located in North Wales in the UK and is one of the most beautiful places I’ve visited. As a photographer, I found it a long process to get from one place to another because every layby or place to pull over offers a beautiful view. Every sideroad could lead to another stunning view and possibly spending quite a while in reverse gear.
Photography Locations in Snowdonia
Dotted all around the national park are lakes and reservoirs, large and small.
Some offer closed views of where the mountains and forests meet the water’s edge. This was the view from the youth hostel I was staying in.
The lakes are connected by rivers and streams too.
Hiking up the mountainsides, following the Public Rights of Way paths, offers some incredible vantage points to view the landscape.
I’m a freelance photographer based in Bristol, UK but I travel around quite a lot. I’m especially interested in Star Trails, Landscapes, Seascapes and Wildlife photography.
I shoot on a Canon 5D Mark IV with a Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM or 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS USM.
As well as a photographer I'm also a Lighting Designer with a leaning towards the music industry.
